A Twitch api tester that uses my Twitch library to test supported Twitch endpoints -> Kraken (v5) / helix and known undocumented endpoints.
The self hosted api tester example can be useful for creating a token with custom scopes and / or to check Twitch endpoints and it’s response data before writing anything meaningful.
The default URL to view the api tester is localhost:8081
– endpoints that are deprecated are disabled by default but the functions still work (unless they don’t).
– optional parameters are query strings -> ?name=value&name2=value2 etc or when mentioned “channel id” the actual channel id. I should probably make the UI more friendlier.
A new token will be generated for every call made. This means when you click “Get response data” a new token will be generated along with the selected scope(s). You can revoke access by using the library by calling -> BlushyFace.Twitch.Auth.Auth().RevokeToken(“your accesstoken”); since I have not included that function yet in the api tester but you can also let the token expire.
– create an app by going to the Twitch dev page and include the secret in settings.
– up to date .NET to run the demo
